I'm Vaughn Teegarden, a photographer living in east Tennessee, minutes from the Blue Ridge Mountains in the heart of the Appalachia. This one could almost have been an image taken from a satellite (at least in my mind's eye). I like it!
It does look like a canyon or something. In reality it's only a few inches deep.
